The SquareShooter™ is only 16 inches square and receives and modulates analog and HDTV signals 40 to 50 miles away from the transmitter, depending on the model purchased: SS-1000 or SS-2000.

TWO MODELS of the SquareShooter™
SS-1000 (Non-Amplified)
SS-2000 (Amplified). The SquareShooter™ SS-2000 is equipped with Winegard's new digital preamp specifically designed for digital reception with an input level of 300,000 mV and 12 dB flat gain across the entire bandpass. These specifications ensure proper digital demodulation for the Square Shooter™ antennas.

Walls, roofs, patios, attics and railings are common mounts. Plus, the SquareShooter™ makes a great off-air companion to a satellite dish.

FACT: An Off-Air HDTV Antenna is the ONLY way a consumer can receive local broadcasts in high-definition. Satellite signals do NOT yet broadcast locals in high-definition. The best part about a local high-definition signal is - IT'S FREE!

Specifically designed to receive and demodulate
"reflected" DTV/HDTV transmissions from terrestrial broadcast signals, the SquareShooter^tm is uniquely suited for urban/metropolitan locations where line-of-sight to the transmit source is blocked with high-rise buildings and other obstructions. This 16" square antenna can receive and demodulate clear analog broadcast signals up to 45 miles and outstanding DTV/HDTV signals over 50 miles from the transmit source and is ideal for the suburban market.

The Winegard HDP-269 pre-amplifier is designed to complement the SS-1000 SquareShooter™ Antenna. This mast-mounted high-input pre-amp boasts 11dB gain across the entire UHF/VHF band. It has been designed specifically to overcome the digital drop-outs associated with over-amplification. Made of high impact ABS material, mast mounted for easy installation. Zinc-plated steel mounting hardware included.
