Dish Network DP34 VideoPath® Multi-Dish Switch With the introduction of DishPro
technology this switch replaced the SW64 switch. It employs 22 KHz
tone bursts whereas the earlier SW64 switch relied on DC voltage.
This switch is capable of capturing signals from three of Dish Network's
orbital slots and feeding those signals to four individual tuners but it
can also be cascaded with other DP34 switches and feed up to 12
individual tuners. It's really an awesome piece of equipment.
Combines 3 Orbital
Locations to power 4 Receiver Outputs
Features
Three inputs to capture
signals from three orbital locations (61.5°, 105°, 110°, or 119°).
Four outputs for connection
to four single-tuner receivers. (Any combination of
single and dual-tuner receivers can be connected however,
dual-tuner receivers act as two separate receivers and
require connection to two ports.)
Three "cascade" feeds to
cascade to other DP34 switches. Up to three DP34
Switches can be connected in a cascade to feed up to 12
single-tuner receivers.
Switch is p
owered by receiver.
Does not require AC/DC power insertion.
Special Considerations
Can only be used with
DishPro LNBFs.
Recommended for use with
DishPro Receivers although "Legacy" receivers can be used
provided they are equipped with DishPro Adaptors. We
highly recommend that you use an SW64 switch with Legacy
receivers.
